From Montego Bay to the World
Born Jerome Campbell in Montego Bay, St. James, Yahsha discovered his passion for music at an early age. By 15, he was already performing in a group and honing his craft on Jamaica’s north coast hotel circuit. His natural gift for songwriting and production led him to collaborate with the legendary Clive Hunt between 2012 and 2016, contributing to music from powerhouse artists such as Etana, Queen Ifrica, Yannis Odua, and Tifa.
A Multi-Talented Force in Music Yahsha is more than a singer—he is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and studio engineer. His songwriting and production prowess have earned him two Grammy nominations for his contributions to Etana’s Reggae Forever (2018) and Pamoja (2021). His work extends beyond reggae, featuring on VP Records’ renowned compilations Strictly the Best and Reggae Gold, as well as the soundtrack for the Jamaican cult classic film Destiny.
Global Collaborations & Festival Appearances
With an impressive list of collaborators, Yahsha has worked with legends and stalwarts such as Barrington Levy, Jimmy Cliff, Bugle, Jahvinci, Brown Shuga, and Queen Ifrica. His live performances have further solidified his place in the industry, touring extensively with Etana and providing background vocals for Bugle. He has graced the stages of major festivals worldwide, including:

• Bob Marley’s Uprising 80th Birthday Celebration (with Bugle)
• BBC 1Xtra (UK)
• Lions Festival (Germany)

Yahsha Elishua refuses to be confined to a single genre. “My main goal is to reach as many people as I can with my words and melodies,” he explains. “Music connects us all and takes us through various journeys or milestones in our lives.” His current collection of unreleased music reflects this philosophy, incorporating pop, afro-pop, reggae, trap, dancehall, and acoustic elements.

Currently, Yahsha Elishua is working with Inna Mi House Music spearheaded by CD Master, producing groundbreaking records that continue to push the boundaries of sound. As he expands his global reach, his influence on the industry remains undeniable.
